Who is Eve? There’s an Ezer Kenegdo

And Hashem Elohim said, It is not tov that the adam should be alone; I will make him an ezer suitable for him. [Genesis 2:1 Orthodox Jewish Bible]

Woman is to be ezer kenegdo. Ezer is translated helper. Which actually means power or strength. Kenegdo is translated suitable for him (NIV) which mesa equal to him. Woman is a power equal to man; she is his match.

Must say today’s blog is deferent, for I believe for some reason God want to post about Biblical design for woman, God’s orignal design. Side note that is not a bashing. God’s design for man or woman want not to have a list or “to do and not does” as way of thinking thoughth life. However it to live life and walk it out with all with all the messy issues we have or encounter. Yes we will can miss it at times, but that is also learning how to live. We can have a box of philophosies, however; do you do them, or only have them in thoughts. This hopefully to encourage to all to willing to live life. Take a chance with be you.

That men and women are not an hierarchy nor to be a struggle of power. Both are to be complement and both are the image of God. When we receive salvation thought Jesus Christ both men and women have the authority and power of Jesus Christ. Neither one is less nor more than another. Which may break many views of God as being a hierarchy in Himself, which the Trinity,( Father, Son, Holy Spirit) is not a hierarchy. He is One, His character and attributes are not in list of power.  There is no division but a commune of love within Yah, hence God is love. Love does not want control, love wants relationship.
Hence the Question:
*Women: to ask yourself “How are you telling about God?”
*Men: to ask yourself when you are with a woman, “What is she telling me about God?”

We say God is Creator, and he created man and he created woman. Not sure in the translation how got the English name Eve, but the Hebrew translation is ezer kenegdo.

“So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the LORD God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man. “At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.'” This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.” [Genesis 2:21-24 NLT]

Are we walking out in love or in controling?
